Download the file BIA70_52.SAR and perform an update from a prior BWA revision to this BWA revision. The version file of your existing TREX/BWA instance is located in:

Update Procedure
1. Log on as superuser (root) in the folder that you have created for downloading the file BIA70_51.SAR.2. Unpack this SAR file using SAPCAR. After the unpacking had finished you will find the installation script ‘install.sh’.3. Enter the command ’sh install.sh –update’ for starting the update procedure.

In case of several installed BWA instances, you will be asked to choose one of them to be updated.

The program or function module RSDDTREX_SINGLE_TABLE_INDEX can be used to delete and rebuild individual indexes that belong to active BI Accelerator (BIA) indexes. It is an internal repair tool and is not released for general use.
The function is sometimes executed automatically in the system as part of standard SAP processes. Examples include: During the adjustment of the BIA index to InfoCube metadata changes; when restarting a process after a termination during a commit optimization; and during repairs that are performed as part of a check in transaction RSRV.
The setup of the individual index always occurs after an inbound check, with correct lock logic, and with logging that makes it possible to examine the process.
SAP Support may use this program in exceptional cases and after careful analysis to minimize the resources needed for a repair. Such a repair is only required if your system has a fatal error (such as incorrect data in an index) that has to be analyzed by SAP Support.
We do not support the use of the program in any other situation. If you use the program in other situations, we will not provide any assistance for problems that occur. If this function was a part of standard SAP systems, it could also be executed in BIA maintenance transactions. This is most certainly not the case.
SAP reserves the right to change the program or function module at any time, and to change, rename or to delete the interface.
As of BI Support Package 16 or the implementation of Note 1094810, the use of the program is logged again separately and you can no longer call the function module outside SAP standard processes.

Reason and Prerequisites

SAP NetWeaver BI contains a check to ensure that the software of the BW Accelerator is compatible with the installed support package. The revisions of BWA-Polestar treat differently as revisions of BW Accelerator without polestar. This note lists the compatible support packages and revisions consideration this difference.
Solution

This problem is caused by a program error.

SAP NetWeaver BI 7.00

Import Support Package 22 for SAP NetWeaver BI 7.00 (SAPKW70022) into your BI system. The Support Package is available whenNote 1325072″SAPBINews NW 7.00 BI Support Package 22″, which describes this Support Package in more detail, is released for customers.SAP NetWeaver BI 7.01 (SAP NW BI 7.0 Enhancement Package 1)

Import Support Package 05 for SAP NetWeaver BI 7.01 (SAPKW70105) into your BI system. The Support Package will be available whennote 1324445with the short text “SAPBINews NW7.01 BI ABAP SP05″, describing this Support Package in more detail, is released for customers.

In urgent cases the correction instructions can be used.
Beforehand please definitely check the note 875986 for transaction SNOTE.
This note may already be available before the Support Package is released. However, the short text will still contain the words “preliminary version” in this case.

Reason:
As the update procedure does not change any existing parameter settings, there may be scope for improvement if you change some of your settings.
