Symptom

Incorrect amounts are calculated for reverse and delete images as a result of the currency conversion.For example, positive amounts become negative amounts.However, negative amounts have to be calculated.

Reason and Prerequisites

The ODS object extractor returns a conversion factor with reversed signs for reverse images and before images.The conversion factor is a summable key figure.
The amounts are multiplied by incorrect conversion factors and as a result of the currency conversion, negative amounts become positive amounts and vice versa.
Solution

Convert the InfoObject used for the conversion factors from a summable key figure into a non-summable key figure or characteristic.
Conversion to a non-summable key figure is below:
1. Start the InfoObject maintenance (RSD2)
2. Select the relevant InfoObject
3. Select the maintenance radio button
4. Select the “Tab-Rider” ‘aggregation’
5. Change the aggregational behavior from SUM to minimum or maximum
6. Reactivate the InfoObject and the relevant ODS object.
