Performance of 3.5 Analyzer with Excel 2007 is improved

Symptom
Analyzer(3.5) takes much time to open/refresh Workbook/query with hierarchical shapes. This happens only with Excel 2007 not in the lower version of Excel.

Performance issue is due to the functionality changes made with Excel 2007.
Solution
Please install
‘BW 3.5 Frontend Patch 7 for SAP GUI 7.10′ or higher.
In case of urgent requirements, corrected version of the sapbex.xla is attached to this note. Replace the old sapbex.xla in the installation directory with this version for the correct behaviour. Please note that the attached version is a prerelease version and has not gone through the official SAP Quality process.
